KoukaBliss Dermaroller

Frequently Asked Questions

For beginners, we recommend starting with the 0.5 mm stainless steel roller — it’s ideal for general facial use and safe for at-home treatments.
For the eye area, use a 0.25 mm mini roller to treat delicate skin safely.
For hair growth or body areas, you can go up to 1.0 mm.

Face & Neck: Begin with once a week. Gradually increase to 2 / 3 times per week. For lips, use every 2-4weeks.

For beginners, keep sessions to 2–3 minutes total. Advanced users may increase up to 4–5 minutes, but never exceed 5 minutes per session (longer sessions can lead to over-irritation and skin damage). Always stop if you feel irritation or discomfort.

When done properly, it creates gentle micro‑punctures rather than tears. Most users feel only a light tingling or pinprick sensation. Deeper needles (like 0.5 mm) may cause mild discomfort. You can minimize this with light pressure or a numbing cream.

After each use:
- Wash the roller head with soap and warm water
- Disinfect with 70% isopropyl alcohol or hydrogen peroxide
- Rinse and air dry upside down on a clean paper towel
- Close the lid and store once fully dry

No. After microneedling, your skin barrier is more sensitive. Stick to soothing serums like hyaluronic acid and a gentle moisturizer. Wait 24–48 hours before reintroducing actives.

With 0.5 mm rollers, it’s safe to apply makeup the next morning - about 12 hours post-session.

Yes. Mild redness may persist up to 12 hours, and a ‘sunburn’ sensation up to 24 hours, depending on needle depth.

Never roll on active acne or open wounds. Consult a dermatologist if unsure.

No. For hygiene and safety, your dermaroller should be used by one person only.

It's best not to store serum inside the cartridge. It is recommended to add only the amount you need right before each use to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.

Initial glow and tighter skin can appear after the first session. Deeper results, like reduced wrinkles and scar fading, typically show after 4–8 consistent treatments.

Pregnancy/Nursing: Yes, it’s considered safe.
Post-injections (Botox, fillers): Wait at least 2 weeks before rolling.

Do not use a dermaroller of any size on recently tweezed, waxed, or threaded areas. These areas are sensitive and can increase the risk of irritation or unwanted reactions. We recommend waiting at least 72 hours before treating those areas.
